I grew up in Southern California and my childhood was always peppered with arts and crafts. I was constantly crafting doll houses out of cereal boxes and salt shakers, necklaces out of grass and flowers and “ceramic” bowls out of lemons and soot collected from the BBQ which I mixed with water and then baked in the sun!!! (Ahh..the imagination of mini people!!) Being creative has always been a big part of my life and it continues to be a monumental part of keeping my sanity. When I am making things- whether it be cigar box purses, collages, jewelry, I am just happier and more content. It’s a way for me to release stress, focus, let out steam. In short…IT MAKES ME HAPPY!!!

I love to travel and take my memories and the influences from all over the world and put them into my work.This world boasts so many gifted artisans and I have been blessed with the opportunity to see a lot of beautiful, artful creations.

I am also very passionate about animal welfare/rescue and a big part of my life is helping homeless animals in Los Angeles. I have been a foster Mom to over 50 animals in my lifetime and am a forever Mom to my dog, Manalo and cat, Harmony.

A portion of all my sales are used in rescuing homeless dogs and cats in Los Angeles shelters.
